This collection consists of materials from a scrapbook regarding Albert W. Sully's attendance at the Pennsylvania Military Academy and further education. Preservation photocopies were made to record the original order of the deteriorating scrapbook and are located at the beginning of the box for reference, ahead of the original materials removed from the scrapbook. The scrapbook contains, among other items, report cards for Sully from the Pennsylvania Military Academy, business cards, a Bellevue Hospital Medical College commencement program, and his acceptance letter from the New York County Medical Association.

Dr. Albert W. Sully was the son of General Alfred Sully, who served in the United States Army during the Indian Wars. Albert W. Sully attended the Pennsylvania Military Academy from 1879 to 1886. While there, he rose to the rank of sergeant. Sully continued his education at Bellevue Hospital Medical College and received his medical license in 1891. From the description of Albert W.
